What on Earth is a Water Ouzel?
The Water Ouzel, or American Dipper, looks like a large, gray wren, and is the only North American songbird that gets all its food in and under water. You'll find them flying from rock to rock up and down clear, fast flowing creeks and streams in the western third of North America from Alaska to Costa Rica.
Like the Water Ouzel in its ecological niche, I've picked a niche for my work that I hope you'll enjoy; mostly outdoors around the bugs and weeds, and usually focused on small-scale subjects.
So come along and meet some of my friends; they're mostly quiet and usually undemanding.
